Preparing Blocks and Sheets for Further Production
The GT1313S is a hot wire guillotine cutting station for cutting and preparing standard EPS and Neopor blocks as well as EPS, Neopor and XPS sheets for subsequent production processes.
Typical applications include preparing blocks for tapered insulation board production or for further processing into roller shutter box profiles and other EPS or Neopor products.
The material is moved along a roller conveyor to the cutting position and cut to the required length with a vertically guided cutting wire.
The GT1313S is supplied as standard with a manual length stop.
Optionally, the machine can be equipped with the CNC-controlled multiSTOP length positioning system and a computer for operation.

Commercial Production
The GT1313S was developed for companies that regularly cut standard EPS and Neopor blocks as well as EPS, Neopor and XPS sheets to defined lengths and want to organize this production step efficiently and reproducibly.
The operator sets the required length using the manual length stop, pushes the material along the roller conveyor against the stop and then starts the cutting process directly using a button on the operator panel. For frequently changing cutting lengths, the machine can optionally be equipped with the CNC-controlled multiSTOP length positioning system. In combination with an operator computer, positioning, the cutting process and cutting speed are controlled through the machine control system.
The combination of cutting unit, roller conveyors and manual length stop already creates a complete workstation for recurring cut-to-length operations as standard. If required, multiSTOP can be added for automated length positioning.

GT Series - Features
The GT1313S combines a robust EPS guillotine cutting machine with roller conveyors for material infeed and outfeed and a manual length stop.
The cutting process is carried out using one vertically guided cutting wire. Cutting speed and wire temperature are set directly at the operator panel. For applications with frequently changing cutting lengths, the GT1313S can optionally be expanded with the CNC-controlled multiSTOP length positioning system and an operator computer.
Cutting Unit
At the heart of the GT1313S is the cutting unit. It is designed for cutting standard EPS and Neopor blocks as well as EPS, Neopor and XPS sheets to length using a single cutting wire.
The cutting unit provides a clearance height of 1,300 mm and a cutting wire length of 1,300 mm. This allows EPS and Neopor blocks with a cross-section of up to approximately 1,250 × 1,250 mm to be processed.
During cutting, the cutting wire moves vertically through the material. Mechanical wire tensioning ensures consistent guidance of the cutting wire.
Cutting speed and wire temperature can be adjusted at the operator panel according to the material properties.
Roller Conveyors and Material Handling
The GT1313S is equipped with two roller conveyors for easy material infeed and outfeed. Even large EPS and Neopor blocks can therefore be moved to the cutting unit with minimal effort.
The material is pushed along the roller conveyor until it reaches the set length stop, where it is positioned for cutting.
The length of the roller conveyors can be adapted to the material lengths being processed and the individual production requirements.
Manual Length Stop
The GT1313S is supplied as standard with a manual length stop.
The operator sets the required length at the stop and then pushes the material along the roller conveyor until it reaches the stop.
The cutting process is started directly using a button on the operator panel. Cutting speed and wire temperature are also adjusted at the operator panel.
No computer is required to operate the GT1313S.
Optional Extensions
Depending on the application, the GT1313S can be expanded with the CNC-controlled multiSTOP length positioning system and an operator computer with touchscreen.
This makes the machine particularly suitable for production processes with frequently changing cutting lengths and automated length positioning.
Automatic multiSTOP Length Positioning System
With the optional multiSTOP, the manual length stop is replaced by a CNC-controlled length positioning system.
The required cutting length is entered on the operator computer. The multiSTOP then automatically moves to the specified position. The operator pushes the material along the roller conveyor until it reaches the stop.
Positioning, the cutting process and cutting speed are controlled via the computer. This allows frequently changing cutting lengths in particular to be processed quickly and reproducibly.
Operator Computer with Touchscreen
For operation of the optional multiSTOP, the GT1313S can be equipped with an operator computer with touchscreen.
The operator interface is used to enter the required cutting lengths, position the length stop and control the cutting process and cutting speed.
The computer and software are supplied preconfigured and matched to the machine control system.
Technical Data
Scope of Delivery
The GT1313S is assembled, adjusted and fully function-tested at our factory. For transport, the machine is supplied in transport-optimized assemblies.
As standard, the machine is supplied with cutting unit, two roller conveyors, manual length stop and operator panel. The machine control system and cutting wire power supply are fully integrated.
